By completing this booking form, you are contracting to advertise with Matvertise Media Ltd for the size and duration you’ve selected above.

Once this booking form has been received by us, then the booking has been accepted, subject to availability and restaurant/cafe owner prefrences.

We reserve the right to amend your group choice and booking should the need arise, for example, should something beyond our control happens.

For the booking to come into effect, Matvertise Media Ltd is not required to contact you in order to confirm your booking, as the booking is effective from the date this form is completed and returned by the advertiser.

We will send you a proof of your advert if you require it, although a failure to receive a proof due to the fault of either party does not cancel the booking.

Matvertise Media Ltd accept no blame for errors arising on adverts as a result of lack of contact regarding deadlines for advert amendment. If you have booked a series of display adverts and wish to change copy, the onus is on the advertiser to ensure revised copy is with us before our deadlines. Additionally, if the client or clients' marketing agent supplies copy, it is expected to have been proofed prior to supply and we take no liability for errors or omissions - please take particular care to check contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses and website addresses.

Payments & Charges for late and non-payment:

Payment is required on or before the print deadline which is the 5th of the month unless agreed by Us.

On payments received over 30 days, unless agreed beforehand we charge ongoing interest at 8.5% as well as the higher rate shown on the rate card. If we are forced to pursue outstanding monies due to none-payment, we reserve the right to charge £100 for work taken to file court papers and attend court (excluding cost of filing court costs). VAT - currently at 20%.

Supply of artwork:

If artwork is supplied by the advertiser or their agency, it is necessary that adverts supplied conform to our standards for Adobe pdf format which are pdf/x-1a:2001 or high res JPEG with a 300 DPI.

We take no responsibility for errors created within the conversion of adverts to the .pdf or JPEG format, and if the printed advert consequently produces errors in the paper format, the supplier of artwork is liable.

Artwork changes - please note that advert changes are possible for those providing readymade artwork by the deadline date which will be emailed to you. However, we cannot chase advertisers for changes, particularly if we have originated your advert.

If you wish for Matvertise Media Ltd to originate and revise your advert for each issue, there is a charge of £12 to cover costs, although for essential changes such as new telephone numbers or email addresses, changes are free of charge.

Deadlines and advert postponement:

When you make a series booking, it's a condition that you supply artwork to us within our deadlines dates.

If you wish to postpone your advert until the following series, it is a requirement that you notify us by the 5th of the second month preceding the publication month (e.g. 5th Feb for the April/May/June print).

We only allow a single postponement per series booking, and the postponed print will be added on at the end of the series booking.

Late postponement charge - if you wish to cancel, but have missed the postponement notification date, and it's before the 5th of the month preceding publication, a late postponement charge of 50% of the total advert cost is due.

For postponements after the 5th of the month preceding publication, you will be billed for the entire advert cost because at this point, we've closed down production, allocated space to you for your advert and will be unable to replace your advert with another because we've fixed the print count and closed down sales, causing us to suffer a loss.

Cancellation:

If a series of adverts are booked to take advantage of the discount provided for multi-insertion advertising, then the advertiser is required to complete the series detailed above.

Please be aware that you are entering into a legally binding contract. Once you have confirmed the booking by ticking the box provided it is necessary to complete the term.

Extenuating Circumstances - if your business has closed or you've become seriously ill, etc, please contact us with regard to cancellation.

Cooling off Period - for series bookings only, it is possible to cancel the booking for the 7 days following the date of booking confirmation. To implement this, it is necessary to email the person (agent) who accepted the booking and to request a cancellation of your booking.

The booking is cancelled once the agent contacts you to confirm cancellation by email.

Cancellation of series booking - if you wish to cancel your booking, then you will be billed for the difference between the discounted multiple-insert rate and the one-insert rate
